Personally speaking regarding my own tastes, I don't sport a beard or a mustache (I shave once a week so that should give a hint as to how prone my chin is to growing hair)... and when it comes to my taste in guys, as you might've noticed by now, I've developed somewhat of a tendency to to lean more towards the hairless models (unintentionally so of course )...

Truth be told though, I'd say I'm kind of ambiguous when it comes this topic. I've never really paid attention to body hair... unless of course its excessively noticeable... (back hair? um... no

You know how pissed I'm when every single model goes the "smooth" way! Why can't people see hirsute men can look damn sexy? You know the trouble I go for in search of looking hairy guys? And I mean the non-porn ones where I want to see the guy without his dick jutting out.
Yeah back hair is no for me too. But hair on chest and legs? Bring it on!!
Guess it really depends on the model. Some look better hairless and some look better with hair. I personally like guys with a little bit of hair, as it makes them appear that much more masculine.
Adding to what Ken said, maybe there's a perfect center somewhere between no hair and too much hair.
I really don't mind either way, but photographers in general tend to prefer the no hair look so that's predominantly what's out there.
And yeah Calimo, I realize it's a matter of personal taste :-)

Definately with some hair. Of course, as it was said, it's all a matter of opinion, but for me, a hairy man looks like, well, a man and not a teenager trying to look older than what he really is.
Back hair, though, is something I don't care for, I draw the line at crossing the line at monkeydom!
Not everyone wants the Tom Selleck or Sam Elliot kind of chest hair but they defined masculinity for their era. Look at Hugh Jackman, the men from "Nip/Tuck", Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal, Blake Harper, Bryan Thomas, Shawn Christian, Chris Evans...would you kick any of them out just for chest hair? On the other side, there's Ryan Reynolds, Zack Efron, Robert Gant and a host of soap stars. There is not one "perfect" ideal out there. Everyone has preferences (mine leans to the fur). Let's celebrate them all equally.
So.. since the poll speaks the preference, can I expect more hairy guys on this blog?? :D
Well the only problem with hairy guys in general is that photographers tend to not go for them. :-(
So what are you left with? Well the type of pics you were referring to earlier :-S...
That said, I'll gladly post gorgeous hairy guys (should I run across them) and feature any really good photographers who happen to favor that type of model.
They're few and far between but I'm pretty sure they must be out there :-)

Also, I find it interesting how the hairy category completely blew away the shaved. Maybe there's a large audience out there totally being ignored...
Thats because the popular image of a young man is ( 'tis at least here ) smooth and shaved. And my guess is that as with most other things, it does not have to reflect reality.
As of my personal taste.. A furry chest, rawr ( No, no jungle, just a nice fur.... Like Mr. Hot Model has! ( You know, sexy and hot, but huggable and cute at the same time... Aaah I'm drifting off.. )

Honestly... the guy in this post is about the hottest man ever!
I really get that everyone has their own concepts of what is attractive and what's not - but - I also think our society has a lot to do with the trends of what is ideal. (I.E: Making women feel like they're fat & ugly if they don't have the body of a 13 year old boy.)
Extremes (in my opinion) are never a good thing. Yeah, I'm put off by men who look like they're still wearing a sweater-vest when they take their shirts off, but this trend of shaving everything below the eyebrows is going too far (see above comment about 13 year old boys). Everything in moderation.
And that's my two cents...

personally, i love the look of almost all men... it's about the chemistry. but, having said that, if i had to choose, i'd always choose hairy over hairless (and that includes hairy backs!)
