He is gorgeous. Although I hate that show and cannot stand watching women cry and make an ass of themselves and profess they have fallen in love with someone whom they may have only known for weeks.

I share your cynicism. Everyone has their demons, and we just don't know his yet.

If that is truly his bed and it's not a studio-designer choice (at 0:23), then he's gay. Then his difficulty in finding "...a woman that will love me for who I am, what I am, and what I stand for" is not that difficult to understand.
